On Field Day, our students put their books away and embark on a day of fun in the sun. Each year, Field Day is held in May or June, and it has become a huge success and is one of the most anticipated days of the school year.  

Pre-K
Pre-K students remain at school to participate in their own Field Day activities.

Grades K-8
Grades K-8 participate in Field Day activities at a local park.

Food
Students in Grades K-8 will have a snack and then be bussed to the park.  The Parents' Guild organizes and provides lunch. A notice will be sent out, in advance, to let you know what is on the menu.  Parents are also given the option to send in a disposable lunch.

Activities
Field Day activities are organized by our gym teacher.  Parents who do not want their child to participate in Field Day, are asked to keep the student home, on that day.  Please notify the school office about the absence.

Teams
Students are organized into color teams for the various games and activities.

Attire
Please note your child's team color and be sure to send your childe to school wearing the appropriate colored shirt.  If your child needs sunscreen, please put it on before they come to school.  All students must wear sneakers-no sandals.

Student Pick-Up
Students will return to school before regular dismissal.  Parents who choose to pick up their own children at the park, must do so by 1:00 p.m. Parents will be required to sign the "sign-out" sheet before taking your child.
