Transfiguration
School teams participate in CYO and WCAA leagues for boys and girls in Grades 3 to 8. Instructional basketball begins in Grade
2. The objectives of the program are: teach the game, focus on the fundamentals; develop good sportsmanship and team play;
promote self-esteem of all players; prepare players for more competitive play as they get older; have fun; and represent Transfiguration
in an honorable manner at all times.

Attention, all adult basketball
players! Come play on Wednesday nights from 9:00 - 10:30 p.m. in the school gym. Players must be parishioners
and will be asked to sign a waiver, for insurance purposes. Let's have some fun and remember, we all need to go
to work the next day. Pass the word. See you on Wednesday!
Every new coach and parent that helps out with
a team must complete the "Authorization and Disclosure for Background Check" and
return to Terry McGlynn. In addition, team coaches and parents are required to complete the Safe Environment course.
Compliance with this requirement is mandatory.

New gym floor!
Many thanks to Terry McGlynn we now have a new gym floor! Terry has led this project from fundraising through to installation
