Middle schoolers from Transfiguration Catholic School in Tarrytown and The Leffell School, a Jewish day school in White Plains, along with players from the NBA G League's Westchester Knicks formed a line to pass 1,250 Thanksgiving turkeys from Stop & Shop to a truck ready to take them to Feeding Westchester.
Michal K. graduated valedictorian of the class of 2014 and went on to Regis High School, graduating in 2018. He went on a gap year through Princeton University. He is in the ROTC program and will graduate in May with a degree in Chemical Biological Engineering. This December Michal was selected as a Schwarzman Scholar, an extremely prestigious fellowship.
