Transfiguration School teams participate in CYO leagues for boys and girls in Grades 3 to 8. Instructional basketball begins in Grade 2. The objectives of the program are: teach the game, focus on the fundamentals; develop good sportsmanship and team play; promote self-esteem of all players; prepare players for more competitive play as they get older; have fun; and represent Transfiguration in an honorable manner at all times.

Attention, all adult basketball players! Come play on Wednesday nights from 9:00 – 10:30 p.m. in the school gym. Players must be parishioners and will be asked to sign a waiver, for insurance purposes. Let’s have some fun and remember, we all need to go to work the next day. Pass the word. See you on Wednesday!

Transfiguration Viking NCAA Basketball Fundraiser & TV Raffle

Come out and have a fun night as Transfiguration School families show their support for the Viking Basketball Program while watching the NCAA championship game with other parents, coaches and friends!

How much does a ticket cost?

Only 250 tickets are sold at $25 each!

Tell me about the event.

Each ticket entitles the buyer to a chance to win a flat panel TV and admission to the event, including food and beverages. The winner need not be present to win. This is a very popular event, so, be sure to join us!

How do I get a ticket?

To reserve a ticket, please contact your child’s basketball coach or Rob Sullivan at (646) 529-0413. Tickets will also be available in the school office (914) 631-3737.

Who can attend?

You must be 21 or older to attend.

How can I help?

Are there other sports fundraisers?

The Transfiguration Basketball Program raises funds from the Concession stand at home games, NCAA Spring Fundraiser and selling School Spirit wear.
