Transfiguration School has a long history of providing our students with a rich cultural experience. We were delighted when the Parents’ Guild introduced the opportunity to participate in a performing arts program with our Transfiguration Drama Club in 2010.
Our inaugural production of “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” in 2010 was performed by students ranging in age from Pre-K through 8th grade. In 2011 we presented “Aladdin, Jr.” and in 2012 we presented “The Pirates of Penzance Jr.”. In 2013 we presented Disney’s “Beauty the Beast Jr.” and last year we presented Disney’s “Little Mermaid.” This year’s production promises to be as spectacular as its predecessors. The announcement of the production will soon be announced.
There is an additional fee to participate in the Drama Club. Any family with more than two children participating will pay for the first two children only. The cost includes a t-shirt. Fees are payable to the Transfiguration Parents’ Guild.
Girl and Boy Scouts are worldwide organizations that offer the opportunity to develop self-esteem as well as leadership and teamwork skills, in a fun and safe environment. More information will be provided as it becomes available about active troops at Transfiguration School.
